Our College Readiness Program ensures every student has the resources they need to succeed in high school, graduate from college, build a path to a fulfilling career, and become a community leader.
TUTORING
(Grades 7-12)
Students work with their tutors 1-2 times each week in subjects ranging from junior high math and science to advanced calculus and chemistry.
Students can submit requests for study resources, such as graphing calculators and personal copies of books. In 2021-2022, students have received over $3,200 in resources.
MENTORING
(Grades 9-12)
Students receive biweekly, one-on-one academic mentoring. As they progress through high school, students make progress toward their academic success plan.
Mentors offer guidance and accountability for their students and focus on creating constructive, meaningful shared experiences with their students.
COLLEGE APPS ACADEMY (Grade 12)
Weekly 2-hour sessions offer focused support for high school seniors as they navigate the college application process.
Our instructor works with seniors to manage their workload around completing timely college applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, financial aid applications, scholarship applications, and much more.
PARENT ACADEMY (Family members of all ages)
Held in Spanish, this class for parents is designed to bring the college readiness conversation into the home.
Our instructor teaches the curriculum “The 10 Education Commandments for Parents,” developed in partnership with the Orange County Business Council and Leading Educational Attainment Initiative.
